Dear Rosemary,

What can I tell you? It's been another lovely week here, if you count the rain for a couple of days, the temperature going to the seventies for a couple of days, and being in a meeting for a couple of days. Oh, yeah, and working for six straight days, while learning about a new position that I now inhabit, which has never been done before by the company I work for, so there is no blueprint for how to function.
You know, that may be the saving grace of this whole thing. I am now in a position that has not existed before in the corporate history of this company. Imagine the freedom of that. Whatever I do, no one can tell me I'm doing it wrong, because no one knows if I'm doing it wrong. anything I do must be interpreted as right. Of course, certain expectations were listed before the job started. So if you follow the line of reasoning, then any progress toward the aforementioned goals must be viewed as a tremendously well-done job.
