Today was my tenth anniversary. Of my Job. I have worked for the same large corporation for ten years today. Strangely, I feel a small sense of pride for that. When I was younger, I would have disdained anyone who spent all of their life in the same place. Now, the stability of such an accomplishment stirs me. Is it an accomplishment? Is it wrong to feel good about this? I know that when I was younger I thought that Jackson Browne had written the perfect commentary on people who did that when he wrote "The Pretender." It made so much sense. And now I am The Pretender.
