The Batists are about to have a meltdown. WalMart announced today that they have extended their policies on discrimination practices to include gays and lesbians. Now in the past, the Baptists have shunned such practices, and declared a ban on whatever institution gave any credence to gaydom. They did it to Disneyworld, when they extended their healthcare benefits to people in same-sex relationships. The Baptists declared, at their national convention, that they would boycott going to Disneyworld, having nothing to do with fairies. Now, they have WalMart. What the hell are they going to do now. I mean, if you need a Baptist, there's one in a WalMart. There's probably some Baptist sitting in his living room right now, immobile, one hand on the remote, sweat on his forehead, watching the news on TV about the policy change at his local WalMart, and his other hand on his New Testament, and he's thinking, "But I need a set of tires."
