Time to Blog again. So much has happened since my last posting. For one, I am now an officially diagnosed diabetic. That's been exciting. I've begun to stick my finger every day now, and will for the rest of my life. It doesn't hurt. By the time I'm really old, I'm pretty sure that there will be a way to test without having to stick yourself. I have Faith in Technology. Even now, I speak to you, the masses, with the aid of technology. I speak now to more people anonymously than most of the great writers of the past couple of centuries ever did in their entire lives. But I veer from the subject.
I had to take my wife to the emergency room today. She is postmenopausal, and she began to produce what appeared to be a period on Saturday. This morning, it became full-fledged hemmoraging. I had to rush her in, and then hurry up and wait to be seen. She is at least not in danger of losing her life immediately, thankfully. She's resting, and sleeping well right now. She should be, with the drugs they gave her today. We have to report to an ob/gyn this morning, for further testing. I know that she was scared today, and overall she did fine. She did freak a little. I handled it.
We're falling apart. I am diabetic, have coronary artery disease, and am overweight. And I need another beer. My wife went through menopause before she reached middle age, and is now bleeding when she shouldn't be. She is on Paxil for depression. What a pair of fun people we are!
