Shopping, shopoing. I didn't do any. The wife finished almost all of it before today, and we knocked out the last few after breakfast today. We went to our favorite place for breakfast food, The Marietta Diner, and got squeezed into the booth, and began to talk about what to do today. She immediately issued forth with I don't want to be out all day, I'm tired, I have no intention on shopping all day, etc. I have one weekend off a month. She used to be in the restaurant business, so she has worked her share of weekends in her life. But now that she's got them off all the time, I don't think she remembers how much you try to put into one when it's all you get for a while. It just crushed my mood to hear her say that, and I really resented her for issuing dominion over my weekend. It really upset me. I didn't talk about it for a few minutes, but eventually we did discuss what was said and how it made me feel, but she never did apologize, and she never did back down from her stance on the issue. So we did go and do some fun things today, and got into a couple of stores, and went to a movie, but that start has been with me all day. I have no intention of becoming even more of a couch potato than I am. Sometimes I see her becoming less and less active. She was not like that three years ago. She does not have the energy she had three years ago. I do not love her less for it, but it does concern me. We talked today about what we need to do to live healthier lives. I just hope somehow we'll find the motivation to go there.
