What a bitch. I took my wife's car today, so that I could get one of the tires looked at. It had a slow leak in it, so I figured it had picked up a nail. It had. The nail was right against the outside edge, where it had caused the steel belts to snap, making it useless to repair the tire. So instead of forking out a few bucks to get a leak fixed, I got two brand-new tires, and laid out a few hundred dollars. My next stop was at work, to get a new doorknob rekeyed to match the old ones. I stopped in and found out that we were getting a new evaluation plan laid out to us today, so I stuck around for what should have been a short meeting. I left three hours later. My whole day off shot, and now I have less disposable income. oh well.
