Thanksgiving is almost upon me. My wife and I are having all of her family here at our house for dinner on Thursday. I'm sure you think you know where this blog is going, but I like having them here. Logistically, there are more central places we can meet, such as her mom's house. The problems there: 1) with a large house, everybody eats and stays in one room. There are a lot of people who do that, so it doesn't seem strange. However, it is cramped, and stuffy. 2) Her mom will want to cook and cook and cook. Her mom is just now getting most of her strength back from going through chemo this year. The other part--everything will be stuffed. Cabbage, squash, onions, you name it, it'll be in a dish called stuffed X. 3) She has one brother who is a really nice guy, who is married to a psycho bitch. Anything that can be done to avoid being in the same house with her is great. They will not come. They live too far away, although we go there for birthdays and cookouts with regularity. Psycho bitch thinks it's too far too drive. For her, she's right.

So there's the dirty secret for today. I am sure that somewhere there is someone who is typing a blog and saying what an evil bastard I am. But this is mine, so I rule.

I promise not to be so nasty to someone on the next entry. I don't know who yet, but I'll spare someone.
