Here's a little-known and potentially threatening hazard of owning an MP3 player. I just downloaded three Tom Jones songs from MSN Music. I have been looking around on the Internet for a few months, for older albums and songs that I listened to when I was Younger. That covers all the way back to 2001. I had actually gotten a couple. Now, with an MP3 player, I am periodically compelled to jump online and look for something that I may have heard at random on a commercial, or heard a cover, or thought of for no particular reason whatsoever. Weird. I'd better keep an eye on the Visa balance.
