Over on Logblog, I posted the statement that I needed to try out both keyboards and make a King Soloman-like decision. I dunno. This one is pretty good. It's just that the HP board has a firm "click" to the keys. It almost sounds like one of those old word processor keyboards. I think there should be a program that would make your computer sound like an old typewriter when you strike the keys. I learned to do this on one of those, you know. That's because I'm OLD. We had Royal and Smith-Corona manual typewriters. The advanced classes had IBM Selectrics. They were the macdaddies. I got to type on them a few times, which meant you had learned to type in Mrs. Purvis' eyes. I never really had to go back to the manual again. So this is a test to see if my fingers like this one better than that one. So far it may be a tossup. I bought this one because I wanted to go wireless, though, so I guess I'll stick with it. Just like in typing class, the better technology takes precedence.
