OK, I said write something every day. Yes, there is a day missing. No, I didn't puss out. I wrote somewhere else. I just got a request from the DNC for money. I am a registered Democrat, so I guess that's how they got my name. I have decided to send money to the campaign. I don't have a lot, so I won't send a lot. However, it gives me yet another up on the people at work. I had a guy look at me the other day and tell me, "Gosh, not many people will admit to being a liberal." Now in the first place, all I told him was that I was a Democrat. I let the comment drop, because he's one of those people who are Republican because their daddy was. He has no idea what the Republican party stands for, let alone what the issues in this race are. However, the next time someone says something smart about my political affiliation, I am going to want to know how much time they have devoted to campaigning for a nominee from their party (I did that) or how much time they gave volunteering at a polling place (I did that) or have they ever donated money to their cause (I did that, already). I am surrounded at lunch by idiots. I mentioned in the last post that I would get the results of my numerous medical tests on Tuesday. I did. I'm fine. I'm just getting old.
